Ola I’m back! I wasn’t able to post for a while not because of work but because we finally had our long awaited family vacation. Working overseas made me and my hubby look forward to our annual month long vacation (and staycations and out-of-town dates of course!)
We went to HK. We had a hard time… why? because the booking we made from Cleartrip does not match the booking I had on my printed ticket! After an hour of waiting we finally board our flight hangry and pissed but as soon as we the plane took off I calmed down hehe :)
We arrived HK 11am and our journey started. Travelling with a baby is not as easy as I thought it will be.The good thing about our stay in Mongkok was, everything was just a stone throw away. We stayed in Stanford Hotel – the people here are very accommodating. The room is not spacious enough but still good enough for 2 adults and 1 baby. You can walk going here from the MTR Mongkok Station Exit D3. :)
Although I am thankful that Ellie was such an angel during the whole flight. We rested and started our adventure at 3:30 pm just as I planned. We went to Tsim Tsa Tsui East to Victoria Harbour and Promenade where we watched the sunset and ate HK street foods :) We also checked out Temple St. Night Market + Sneakers St.(yes! sneakers and rubber shoes everywhere) and also the Ladies Market.
Our trip to HK Disneyland deserves another blog post :)
